What this calculator assumes for Raptive

Raptive, the network that was AdThrive until 2023, posts the highest RPMs of any mainstream ad management company. Since late 2025 it accepts sites from 25,000 monthly pageviews, down from 100,000, provided the traffic is mostly from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand and the content is original. It manages placements and density for you, runs header bidding across premium demand, and offers an RPM guarantee to sites switching from another managed network.

The benchmarks describe a content site with engaged, mostly Tier-1 readers, which is the only kind Raptive takes. Tier 1 is the US, UK, Canada, and Australia; Tier 2 is Western Europe and developed Asia-Pacific; Tier 3 is the rest. Niche multipliers range from 0.8 for gaming to 2.8 for finance. If your geographic slider sits left of center, treat the estimate as what you would earn after the audience shifts, because the application itself would not pass.

AudienceBase RPM
Tier 1: US, UK, Canada, Australia$36.00
Tier 2: Western Europe, developed Asia-Pacific$13.00
Tier 3: rest of the world$3.00

The base RPM is then multiplied by your niche:

NicheMultiplierTier-1 RPM after multiplier
General Blog0.9×$32.40
News / Media1.1×$39.60
Tech / Dev1.5×$54.00
Finance / Business2.8×$100.80
Lifestyle / Recipe1.0×$36.00
Gaming / Guides0.8×$28.80
Tool / Calculator1.2×$43.20
Health / Wellness1.3×$46.80

These are blended benchmarks for a well-run site, calibrated in June 2026 against published industry reports, not the median publisher. The full method is on the methodology page.

How Raptive pays

  • When: Net 45: each month's earnings are paid by the 15th of the month after next.
  • Minimum: $25, or $100 for wire transfers; smaller amounts defer to the next payment.
  • How: Direct deposit, PayPal, and wire.

Raptive guarantees creator payments even when an advertiser fails to pay. Payout timing across the web networks, and how to receive dollars outside the US, is covered in the Wise vs Payoneer guide.

Raptive questions

What are Raptive's requirements in 2026?

25,000 monthly pageviews, at least half of them from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, original long-form content, a site in good standing with Google, and no history of invalid traffic. The 100,000-pageview bar that AdThrive was known for was lowered in late 2025.

What RPM does Raptive pay?

Often $20 to $40 for lifestyle, food, and home sites with US readers, and higher in finance and parenting. The calculator's Tier-1 benchmark is $36 before the niche multiplier, Tier 2 is $13, and Tier 3 is $3. Raptive's own reporting shows RPM by page, which is where the placement work it does becomes visible.

Does Raptive have a referral program?

Only for creators already on Raptive: an existing publisher who refers a site earns $250 at 25,000 to 99,000 pageviews or $1,000 at 100,000 and up. There is no public affiliate program, so a site offering you a Raptive referral link is not earning from it, and this one is not either.

Raptive or Mediavine?

If you clear 25,000 mostly Tier-1 pageviews, you can apply to Raptive today; Mediavine's main network wants about $5,000 a year in ad revenue first, with Journey below that. Raptive tends to edge Mediavine on RPM; Mediavine tends to win on dashboard and support. Either is a large step up from AdSense, and switching between them later is common.

Apply to Raptive at 25,000 pageviews

Below the bar, Journey by Mediavine takes sites from about 1,000 Tier-1 sessions and Newor Media runs header bidding with no exclusivity contract.
